Irazú Volcano

The Irazu Volcano is an active volcano in Costa Rica and stands over 3,400 metres tall. Its last eruption dates back to 1994. The volcano is a couple of hours away from San Jose, Costa Rica and definitely a place to visit. After reaching the top, make sure to head a few hundred metres down to visit the volcano park. With my luck, the park was fogged out but it made for some mysterious ambiance walking on the volcanic ash and debris.
